Welcome! The Adoption Ring is a free public service ring dedicated to the all adoption triad members. Founded in 1996 by an adoptee, adoptive parent and a birthmother, it is an ever expanding group of pages designed to allow web surfers to navigate a wide variety of informational adoption sites just by clicking the "Back and "Next" buttons found on each page.

From any page in the ring you can click on a "Next" button to go to the next site, eventually bringing you back to where you started. Or browse a listing of current Adoption Ring members to help you find what you're looking for.

Only submit original and explicitly adoption-related webpages, please. All entries are screened. We no longer accept registries nor do we accept pages which only contain lists of links. Please submit adoption-related stories, art, research, and original resources only.

If you run an search registry, consider applying to the C.A.R.E. (Coalition for Adoption Registry Ethics) Webring.

Searchers and those seeking support please click on the above links or cruise the ring for resources. Please do NOT submit the following types of sites to the Adoption Ring: links only sites, sites advertising PIs (private investigators), adoption agencies, webrings-only pages, referral or intermediary agencies, registries, CIs (confidential intermediaries), attorneys, consultants, etc. Likewise please do NOT submit solicitations, including offers to parent babies, for-profit legal, search or therapy services. The Adoption Ring is a public service for facilitating access to free adoption-related information of an primarily educational nature. Ready to submit your site?

Submitting an Adoption-related page to the Adoption Ring

Step 1: Register your site using this link below. You will have 2 weeks in which to add the Adoption Ring html/graphics to your page. After that time, your site will be removed from the Adoption Ring queue. You may re-submit it on this page at any time. CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR SITE.

Step 2: You will automatically be notified by email and provided with the html to link your homepage to this and the surrounding ring pages. Please remember - no registries or links only pages.

Step 3: Once you have added the Adoption Ring html, email the ring administrators to review your page and add you to the Ring. This may take a few days. Please be patient.
