HERMES IS HERE!

The old tradition maintains that true learning does not
take place unless Hermes is present. That is depressing,
because /universities/ usually get rid of teachers with
Hermes energy first. The whole PhD system was created by
Germanic Hermes-killers.

WHO IS HERMES?

Hermes is magical, detail-loving, obscene, dancelike,
goofy, and not on a career-track.


HERMES' GARDEN

The God Hermes has a very ancient connection with walled
gardens.

WHAT IS THE GARDEN?

The garden as: the study, the state of love, the richness
of the psyche, cultivation vs. rawness, boundaries as op-
posed to unbounded sociability, soul concerns as opposed
to outer obsessions, passion as opposed to raw sexuality,
growth of soul desire as opposed to obsession with a gen-
eralized greed for things.
