Game for Practicing Appositives
By Mary Ann Rechtfertig

In this hands-on game, students sit around a game board in small groups of two or three players. They take turns drawing a card and reading aloud the two short related sentences.
To proceed toward the END, players must correctly combine the sentences into one sentence, using an appositive.
(Example: Amanda, an excellent gymnast, had the crowd cheering wildly.)

To the Teacher: Print out one copy each of the game board and game cards for each small group.
Cut apart the game cards, and place them upside down on the game board.
